In a few minutes I'm heading out the door to begin my Hawaiian adventure. I may post from paradise, but probably not. At any rate, I will be back on the 7th. Aloha!

Have a great time! Don't take any tiki gods out of their caves, remember what happened to Greg Brady!
I didn't bring home any tiki gods. ;-) Apparently there is also some sort of superstition regarding taking home lava rocks from the islands, though. If you take one from the island it will bring you bad luck. Each year, the Kauai post office supposedly receives a number of packages returning such "cursed" specimens to their rightful home.
